Chronology:

1859, Oct 13 Launched as railway ferry; used current to transverse river, later received steam power, chain being attached to either bank, passing through a sheave in the center of the boat proved to be a failure; ran Port Huron - Sarnia.

1860, May 24 Cable broke; again 5 days later.

1873 Ashore near oil refinery.

1875, Jul 22 Owned Sandy & Archie Stewart; made a drydock Port Huron, MI.
