1922, Sep 9 Laid up Holland, MI; upper structure destroyed by fire; rebuilt, returned to service.
1967 After one of the most successful seasons, 18 trips to Montreal Expo '67 was retired; taken to Norfolk, VA, purchased Seafarrers International Union, floating dorm and clasrooms, Lundberg School of Seamanship, fire regulations halted plans; sold to firm called Ships, Inc. for scrap; several attemps made to save her from scrapping, proved too costly.
1988 Towed to former Maryland Dry Dock, Baltimore, Kirt Iron and Metal Works.
1992, Jul 27 Scrapping scheduled to begin.
