1898 Owned H. B. Earhart, Duluth, MN.

1898, Nov Owned Manhatten Steamship Co.; laid up for winter Montreal, QUE enroute to Atlantic Coast.

1899, Feb 3 Burned Montreal, rebuilt there; 20 + 36 x 36", 580hp @ 90rpm steeple compound engine by Bell Engine Works, Buffalo, NY (1895).

1899 - 1906 Ran coal Newport News, VA, New York & Portland, ME.
