1848, Jan 10 New boiler installed, new 600hp engine from J.D. Shepard Foundry, Buffalo, NY, & other improvements.

1848, Apr 12 Owned L.H. Pratt, et al, Buffalo, NY.

1850, Jul 29 Hit rock in Niagara River, ran to dock & sank; 700 - 800 excursion passengers safe.

1851, Apr 17 Owned Arthur Edwards et al, Trenton, MI.

1854, Aug 15 Stranded Middle Island Reef, Lake Huron.

1855 - 56 Cabins reduced, sidewheel & engine removed, two 26" x 3' vertical beam high pressure engines installed - driving 2 Whitaker wheels located about midship on each side with 1/3 of diameter submerged; called side prop.

1856, Mar 28 Owned Lake Erie Transportation Company, Buffalo, NY.

1860, Oct 9 Owned New York & Erie Bank & American Exchange Company, Buffalo, NY.

1860 - 62 Reported "Large Repairs", overhauled.

1861, Nov Aground Stoney Island near Malden, ONT; lightered & released.

1864, Jun 16 Owned Daniel G. McAlpine, Detroit, MI.

1864 Rebuilt with standard direct-acting engine & single propeller.

1864, Jul 1 Owned John Pridgeon, Detroit, MI.

1865, Aug 15 Rebuilt as barge (US31044), 224 x 30.2 x 12.2', 678.05 gross tons.

1866, Apr 18 Owned James M. Ballentine et al, Detroit, MI.
