1847, May 8 Enrolled Cleveland, OH; worked as grain hauler Buffalo - Chicago.

1847, Jun 8 Lost part of rigging in blow off Buffalo.

1848, Nov 2 Struck bar going into Buffalo & drifted ashore with 13,000 bushels corn.

1849, May 1 Collided with schooner ODDFELLOW near St. Clair River.

1849 Re-rigged as barque.

1849, Sep 26 Departed Buffalo - San Francisco, CA; 56 passengers & assorted cargo.

1849, Sep 28 Rammed steamer LONDON lying at dock after entering Welland Canal.

1849, Oct 4 Held up at Welland Canal to trim sides in order to fit through smallest lock.

1849, Oct 24 Cleared customs at Montreal, QUE.

1850, Jul 16 Entered port of San Francisco.

1850, Oct 26 Left San Francisco for return with 136 passengers; 72 days to reach Acapulco, Mexico where passengers disembarked after almost starving; vessel reportedly sold for $1,800 to pay for food & passengers accounts.
