My Great-grandfather, Captain James Quinn of Oakville, Ontario, Canada, at one time owned this Schooner as well as many others.

I believe one of my ancestors was the original owner of the "Jessie Drummond". Francis Jackman was the first owner & commander. ( I could be wrong. But I have a feeling I'm not) considering my great-grandfather Thomas William Jackman was a chief engineer that worked on several ships that sailed on the Great Lakes. He was born & raised in Toronto, Canada. All of my father's relatives were born & raised in Canada.
