Built for World's Excursion, Chicago, IL; only passenger whaleback ever built; carried 2 million passengers first year; once carried 6,300 passengers before 1898; ran Chicago - Jackson Park with Sunday trips to Milwaukee, WI; traveled 20 mph; called "marriage ship of the Lakes".

1892, Dec 3 Launched.

1894 - 97 Harrison Line, Chicago, IL; ran opposite Goodrich's VIRGINIA to Milwaukee, WI.

1898 Owned Chicago & Milwaukee Transportation Co.; chartered to Goodrich; rebuilt with fourth deck.

1902 Made 72 round trips carrying 18,500 passengers Chicago - Milwaukee.

1906, Apr 6 Owned Chicago & Milwaukee Transportation Co., Milwaukee.

1909, Jun 11 Goodrich Transit Co., Milwaukee.

1917, Jun 30 Damaged by collapse of water tower, Milwaukee; 17 lives lost.

1929 Laid up at Manitowoc, WI.

1933, Aug 15 Owned William F. Price, Chicago.

1934, Aug 17 Owned Chriscarala Corp., Duluth, MN.
