Chronology:

1858, Oct Struck shoal Turtle Island, got off, ran on W. Sister Reef, got off; grounded on Peach Orchard shoal; made Put-In-Bay & sank.

1859, Jul 29 Purchased by U.S. Government for Lake survey; refitted; may have been owned by O. Harper, Fairport, OH & chartered to government.

1860 Rigging changed to add sail; will operate with steamers SEARCH & SURVEYOR in upper Lake Huron & Lake Michigan.

1864, Oct Same owner; wrecked on Rock Island, Green Bay.

1865, Dec 11 Rebuilt; owned Captain Sanders.

1866, May 24 Sold by government; enrolled as merchant vessel; register #5057; 95.91 gross tons.

1866, Jul 9 Lost on Lake Michigan.

1867 82.32 gross tons; owned Vermillion, OH.
