Chronology:

1869, Sep 9 Launched, chartered to Northern Transportation Co. to carry cordwood, Portage River - Put-in-Bay to Cleveland for their steamers.

1865, Nov 5 Owned S.W. Dorsey, et al.

1870, Apr 1 Owned Luman H. Tenney , contracted to haul building material from Bark Bay, WI-Duluth for the first grain elevator.

1871, Mar 1 Owned John D. Howard, Superior WI.

1871, Nov 17 Torn from dock in storm Grand Marais & blown ashore. Damage to hull, rudder, paddlewheel & boiler; refloated taken to Duluth.

1872, Nov 28 Beached west of piers, Ontongagon, MI; broke rudder chains in snowstorm, cargo flour, feed & grain.

1873, May Released & taken for repairs.

1874, Oct 29 Foundered.
