William Thomas Kelly Collection


William Thomas Kelly was born in Grand Haven, Michigan on September 12, 1913. His sailing career spanned about 40 years. He was an engineer on several Great Lakes freighters including S.T. CRAPO, SHENANGO II, COL. JAMES M. SCHOONMAKER, and WILLIAM P. SNYDER JR (chief engineer). Mr. Kelly passed away in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 16, 2002.
